In the XRD analysis, we have found that by increasing the milling time one achieves high purity magnetite samples as well as reduced particle size ().Sample Fe10h contains a fraction of 55% of 56 nm α-Fe particles and 45% of 20 nm size magnetite particles.By increasing the milling time up to 96 h we have obtained samples made of mainly magnetite with 12 nm of crystallite size.
